PROGRAM MISSION:
The purpose of this program is to prepare
students to most state and local graduation requirements. Students can earn a standard
high school diploma, certificate of completion or exceptional student education diploma.
SCOPE OF PROGRAM:
The Adult High School program isentry/exit, with self-paced instructional modules, and flexible schedules. A
variety of resources, including computers, tape recorders, cassette players, videos,
CD-ROMS, interactive videos, and assignments, are utilized. Programs are provided days,
evenings and Saturdays by the adult centers, technical centers and community schools
throughout Broward County.
FUNDING:
This program is funded through Broward County
Public Schools Workforce Development Funds.
ELIGIBILITY:
All residents of Broward County, eighteen years of
age or older who are officially withdrawn from an elementary or secondary school without a
high school diploma, are eligible for services.
FEES:
There are no fees to eligible participants for the
Adult High School Program. |
